Code4Lib 2022 will be held at Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in Buffalo, New York.

Lodging

Due to the nature of hosting this conference on campus, in 2022 there will not be a centralized hotel location. The Local Planning Committee has secured small blocks of rooms at nearby hotels at modestly discounted rates. Hotel registration information (including online booking links and discount codes) will be sent directly via email to all registered attendees.

Workshops

All Pre-Conference workshops will be held Monday, May 23, 2022, in Hayes Hall at the University at Buffalo's South Campus (3435 Main St, Buffalo, NY 14214). This is an approximately 15-minute commute from the JSMBS building, via the Metro Rail and a short amount of walking. The station name for JSMBS is Allen-Medical Campus, and the station name for UB's South Campus is University Station. The Metro Rail is one line.

Newcomer Dinner

When: Monday, May 23, 2022

The Newcomer Dinner is an opportunity for veterans of the code4lib conference to meet and welcome first-timers. Attendees sign up to join others for dinner the night before the main sessions of conference begin. See information about the dinner and the sign-up list here. Attendees are responsible in assessing the accessibility of the restaurant space of their choice.

Transportation

Attendees must arrange for their own transportation to the restaurants. To get a sense of the locations and neighborhoods, you can check out the Activities Map.
